His main responsibilities include the core components of network detection systems which are integrated in ESET products, developing backend systems and tools regarding to the network detection and related data processing. Moreover, Software Engineer - Network Security is involved in researching and prototyping new features in network security field. The key issue is safety and reliability of the code, as the product is used by millions of users worldwide.
Where does Software Engineer - Network Security work?
Software Engineer - Network Security works in a team of several people in Core Technology Development department dealing with development and maintenance of key technologies. He works closely with malware and security researchers. Therefore he is always up to date with the latest threats and is able to adapt the system to individual requirements.
