Job description, responsibilities and duties

GBS Finance Analyst - Costing will execute finance processes and deliver services and results to the business units (internal clients).

Main duties
- Participation in Month end close of the General Ledger (Inventory and COGS accounts) including:
- Pre – closing activities: Controlling Checks, Apportionment and Allocation of costs, Reclassifications
- Closing activities: CO-PC (Controlling Product Cost)
- Post - closing activities:CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), Effective Cost calculation
- Maintenance of Cost center agenda
- Maintenance of Bill of Process
- Reconciliation of Inventory accounts
- Participation in special project and ad hoc analysis as requested
- Work in special project and ad hoc analysis as requested
- Participate in preparation for internal and external audits
- Communication and collaboration with local finance area
- Identify gaps in the respective processes and recommend the potential improvements
- Participate in Standardization and optimalization of the processes
- Update of SOP – Standard Operation Procedure
- Fast and accurate recording of financial transactions
- Timely and accurate processing of customer requirements
- Cooperation with other Business units in order to achieve the objective
- Problems investigation and problem solving

Experience and Education Required
• University education with focus on finance / accounting / economics or equivalent coupled with accounting designation
• Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience - fresh graduates accepted
• Working experience from international company / SSC – nice to have

Skills and Knowledge Required
• Good communication skills
• Ability to learn new subjects related to finance processes operation
• Focus in delivering results, processes and customer satisfaction
• Adequate relationship with internal clients and different levels of the company
• Solid understanding of financial statements and GAAP accounting principles.
• Fluent in English – as a must
• Second language (Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian) - nice to have
• Excel, PowerPoint
• SAP - nice to have
