Our client develops meteorological systems for professional weather users. Major use case in our products is visualisation of weather data in form of geospatial maps, graphs or tables with values or icons. All this content is provided by back-end web services. We intend to build mobile applications to deliver weather content to general public users as well as professional meteorologists where much higher level of interactivity is required. We play with the idea of using Xamarin to target all 3 major mobile platforms and reuse code. We use Python to prototype various functionalities but core of our back-end systems is developed in C++ and some parts in Java. We usually expose JSON-RPC or RESTful web service interfaces to do all the clever logic on servers while clients tend to be lightweight, but still non-trivial and feature reach.

Skills
*Proven practice in Web development and general orientation in this field.
*Advanced experience with Java Script, HTML and CSS.
*Good knowledge of OOP (object oriented programming) and OOP thinking.
*Experience with dynamic Web content delivery using external Web Service back ends (JSON/XML RPC, REST, SOAP or others).
*Experience with resolving HTML/CSS incompatibility problems in various Web browsers.
