Supplier Quality Engineer

Willingness to travel.
Supplier development and performance management:
o Identify, develop, and continuously monitor sources of supply to ensure products meet quality and technical requirements.
o Understand and evaluate supplier quality systems.
o Develop process management plans.
o Conduct process management audits.
o Establish performance metrics and regularly evaluating supplier performance.
Corrective/Preventive Action Management:
o Support the corrective/preventive action system.
o Timely disposition of nonconforming materials, generation and management of supplier corrective action documentation.
o Participate in the problem communication meeting process.
Project Management and reporting
o Manage assigned projects to improve process and implement cost saving goals.
o KPI monitoring and reporting: Regional PPM / Supplier PPM within the responsible region / Supplier Audit / PPAP status
New Part Qualification / New Project Management
o Support ECO and project development in ensuring all new parts are PPAP certified
o Work with supplier on process and capability improvement
Others
o Support controlling of Incoming inspection of receiving goods.
o Perform special projects or assignments as required.
