Position Summary:
You will be a member of Tier 2 support responsible for management and maintenance for Windows/VMware operating system and hardware, identification, acceptance and troubleshooting, responding on system incidents and outage calls, client requests, cooperation with hardware vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of Windows System Hosting Tier 2 support team your main duties will be:

Working on auto generated alarm tickets or internal client tickets
Act as an escalation point for next level of support
Performing remote investigation /troubleshooting and monitoring within Windows server infrastructure.
Actively participating in monthly security /maintenance release patching sessions, basic troubleshooting
Performing basic SAN storage maintenance and troubleshooting
Troubleshooting of TCP/IP networking within the OS layer
Deploying changes on operating system in the requested environment
Maintenance /Upgrade of the hardware management software remote tools
Hardware logs troubleshooting
Backup / Restore support on the OS layer

Key Competencies and Skills:

Administering Windows server operating system versions 2003/2008/2012 on intermediate level
Administering VMware on intermediate level
Knowledge of Dell, HP, IBM hardware brands
Good understanding of TCP/IP networking layer
SAN/NAS storage exposure
Overall RAID configuration knowledge
Backup and restore solutions experience
Microsoft Clustering experiences
Knowledge of SCCM, WSUS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years overall Windows system administration, related experience, and related training required, MCSE certification. Microsoft Windows Clustering or other cluster technology solutions, WSUS/SCCM experiences, VCA/VCP certifications, VMware virtualization knowledge/experience it`s a plus, Citrix XenApp experiences/CCA certification, ITIL certification
