Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Plant Metrology Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and delivering the Metrology Control plan for the plant
• Lead a team of skilled Inspectors to ensure that all scheduled control plan checks, and required investigations (e.g. dimensional quality investigations) are achieved
• Driving efficiencies and best practices within the plant metrology area
• Reporting out dimensional performance, and ensuring that key issues are being addressed within the relevant Engineering teams
• Responsible for key metrics within the Metrology area (e.g. Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale)
• Reporting out across all levels on key dimensional performance indicators (e.g. Points Inside Specified Tolerance, capability)
• Developing measuring system programmes and investigations during launch phases
• Oversee the facility installation programme
• Drive metrology best practices
• Reacting and supporting the investigation of customer related issues
