Job description, responsibilities and duties

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Site /Facilities Services Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
• Strategic implementation of benchmarked practices to provide optimum site performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives which identify opportunities for waste elimination and cost reduction
• Will be the Plant focal point for all contracts held with external providers for all indirect related services
• Responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure contribution to plant availability is delivered through world class asset care processes
• Plan and implement training needs and leadership development across the wider engineering team to provide long term knowledge retention
• Forecasts and delivers against budgetary commitments both in revenue and capital.
• Plant lead to ensure all contracts are developed and implemented in line with agreed SLA
• Is a role model for Health and Safety behaviours and driving all teams towards Destination Zero
• Development of contractor evaluations, service reports, monitoring and auditing with clarity of performance levels.
• Directing and controlling the management of the facilities teams to meet business KPI’s
• Ensures the compliance of self and others to internal and external policies, regulations, statutory legislative requirements (eg pressure systems, legionella management, electricity at work regulations, PUWER etc)
• Preparing and assisting with all audit programs both internal and external (eg ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001)
• Ensures that all systems and activities are compliant at all times with the relevant standards
• Develop, implement and adherence of the teams both internal and external to Health and Safety Permit procedures
• Providing direct support and validation for all electrical and mechanical matters on site

Personality requirements and skills

• Must have demonstrated strong leadership skills in demanding, fast paced environments - min 5 years
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Automotive experience
• Proven experience in driving compliance to legislation
• Experience in handling of large 3rd party contracts/budgets
• Experience in driving large scale continuous improvement projects
• Knowledge of modern maintenance processes
• Knowledge of soft FM services (eg cleaning, catering)
• Knowledge of Construction regulations (CDM regs)
• Knowledge of HV electrical systems
• Business proficient in English
